WHAT ARE SOME OF THE IMPACTS INDUSTRIAL INNOVATIONS CURRENTLY HAVE ON THE ASIA PACIFIC REGION?

Asia Pacific is home to some of the most significant industrial production globally. As Industry 4.0 technologies gain pace, we see industrial production undergoing rapid digital transformation to minimise disruptions and increase efficiency. For instance, significant advancements in IoT technologies have allowed manufacturing shopfloors to increase productivity and efficiency through predictive analysis and artificial intelligence.

One such tool is our award-winning plug and play OPTIME condition monitoring solution for the Asia Pacific region. OPTIME can detect potential damage, imbalances or misalignments to easily and conveniently plan long-term maintenance, manpower or spare-parts requirements. This helps our customers to run their rotating equipment more efficiently and ensure a longer lifespan for their machines and equipment.

On the robotics front, increasing power density and precision in system components such as bearing supports, gearboxes, and drive motors enable lightweight robots and collaborative robots to be used in applications that require higher speeds, precision, and cleanliness levels and increased load-bearing capacity.
